Julia Hill
Director of Scholarship Programs
Julia joined the Scholarship Foundation in October 2010 from her role as manager of human resources and administration at The Neurosciences Institute in San Diego, California. She brings to the Scholarship Foundation a masters degree in nonprofit leadership and management from the University of San Diego. Julia is an Air Force daughter and wife of a retired Marine moving often while growing up and later experiencing her husband’s deployments – a background which gives her invaluable perspective on the unique challenges faced by military families. A passionate supporter of Marines, and scholarship aid for their sons and daughters, Julia lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband Scott. They have four grown children and two dogs, including the newest addition to their family – Opha Mae – a bull dog named after the first female Marine.
