The 2013 Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Marathon Team is taking shape and we invite you to join our team, run in the full marathon or 10K, and help raise much needed funds to provide scholarships to children of Marines. We hope you will help us continue to Honor Marines by Educating their children with us on October 27, 2013 as you cross the finish line. Last year, our team had over 100 runners cross the finish line and their efforts raised over $180,000!
We invite you to register with us to reserve your runners’ bib for the full marathon and guarantee your entry into the race. The public registration starts on March 27th and they will be sold out within a few days. If you are interested in running in the 10K, you must first register directly with the marathon office starting on March 27th by going to their website at www.marinemarathon.com. At any time, all 10K runners and full marathon runners who already have their runners’ bibs can join our team without paying any registration fee.
The Scholarship Foundation Marathon Team looks forward to having you join us this year and celebrate the great mission of providing nearly 30,000 college scholarships, valued at over $50,000,000, to deserving children of Marines since 1962.
