Karen Kelly (FL)
Karen is a native of Teaneck, New Jersey. Her father was a Marine during WWII serving with the 4th Marine Division. She is the wife of General John F. Kelly USMC, and proud mother to 1stLt Robert M. Kelly USMC (KIA 11/9/10), Capt John Kelly USMC, and Kathleen Kelly. Mrs. Kelly has spent thirty-five years as a tireless supporter of the Marine Corps and its families. In 2010, shortly after Robert's passing, a scholarship was established in his memory through the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. It is her goal to make Robert's scholarship strong enough to provide multiple yearly scholarships. |
